We track the updates so you can focus on creating.
Your daily brief for Blender, Unreal Engine, and affordable 3D creation – from news to freebies.
Our Story: From Frustration to Focus
This site wasn’t born in a boardroom. It was born from a dozen open browser tabs.
The Spark
As a working artist, I was constantly overwhelmed trying to keep up with the latest news and updates for Blender and Unreal Engine. I knew there had to be a better way than spending hours hunting through an endless sea of browser tabs and social media feeds.
The Idea
The mission became clear: build a single, beautifully organized hub that filters the noise, focuses on the powerful free & freemium tools we all love, and finds the high-value deals and freebies that help us grow.
The Launch
CGEcho.net is that resource. It’s a project built by an artist, for artists, powered by smart automation but guided by a human hand to ensure every piece of content is relevant and valuable.

The “Core Focus” Approach
While Blender and Unreal Engine are the heart of our coverage, our mission extends to any tool that empowers independent artists. We are dedicated to delivering the most relevant news from these core ecosystems, while also shining a light on other free and open-source applications that fit into a modern artist’s workflow.
Afordable Creativity
We believe world-class art shouldn’t require a world-class budget. Our “Free & Freemium First” philosophy means we prioritize tools and resources that are accessible to everyone, from the hobbyist to the independent professional.
